Longmont Amateur Radio Club
The Longmont Amateur Radio Club typically provides extra communication support to the annual Boulder County Fair Parade. Ken White, the organizer of the annual parade is very appreciative of the additional support the club can provide to assist him in getting the parade organized as well as providing extra eyes and ears to report any problems to Ken and his team during the parade.
The club is also involved in providing additional communication support for other parades (Halloween, Christmas, etc.) and other events like the annual triathlon and the Turkey Trot.
They plan on doing the same this year for the annual Boulder County Fair parade scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1.
