The William Smith Livingston Society of the Children of the American Revolution's (CAR) recent meeting highlighted learning about the Apollo 11 Mission and celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the first moon landing by building rockets. Finally, after their rockets were built they had to brave the snow and wind to launch them. It was quite a site to see to the “rockets red glare” against the night sky!
