Gone are the days of opening your doors and having customers flock in. Now you must navigate the online and offline worlds when all you really want to do is deliver a dream-come-true experience to your clients.

Nanci & Sonja have been navigating these waters successfully since Bing was GoTo.com and before Google would even take your advertising dollars! Now, they’ve condensed 15 different marketing programs valued at over $15,000 into a bite-sized, get it rolling, easy-to-implement program.

There is no cost for six hours of high-quality instruction and a custom, 20-minute consultation about your business with Nanci and Sonja, but reservations are required and spots are limited. Greeley, CO – The Inaugural Colorado Cowgirl Roundup, benefiting the Greeley Stampede Art Scholarship Fund, remembers Patsy Moskalski, the first woman on the Stampede Committee; and honors Tami Spaulding as its 2017 Cowgirl.

This event, in conjunction with the Greeley Stampede’s 18th Annual Stampede Western Invitational Art Exhibit & Sale, takes place Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Island Grove Regional Park. A Cowgirl Roundup Reception goes from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm with mimosas and light snacks. Attendees will watch American Bull Fighting at 1:00 pm. The group will then move to the Bunkhouse at 3:00 pm, where a ceremony with music will be held to remember Patsy and honor Tami. Cash bar and free hors d’oeuvres provided. Parking is included. Find this event on the Mountain States Art Trail Facebook page.

Moskalski passed away 10 years ago, and this event was designed to honor her memory as a true trailblazer and recognize a woman of significant accomplishments. The first woman chosen for that honor is Tami Spaulding.

Tami Spaulding, who has been riding horses since age 2 and is a REALTOR with The Group Inc., has been chosen as the first Cowgirl Roundup Honoree, organizers note, because she’s known for her integrity, professionalism, and treating everyone she encounters with respect and dignity. Much of that comes from her experience growing up living the “cowgirl life.” She honors her family, friends, business relationships and herself by always being honest, respectful and caring. Like all cowgirls, Tami is hardworking and gets the job done with little fuss and fanfare.

Tickets ($50/person or $75/couple) for the Inaugural Colorado Cowgirl Roundup can be purchased online at coloradocowgirlroundup.com or by calling 970-381-5817.

For Immediate Release:

(Boulder, CO) - TRU Hospice Thrift Shop, located at 5565 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder, is collaborating with Mary Williams Fine Arts at 5311 Western Avenue in Boulder to offer “TRU Colors Art Sale” from June 26-30, 2017. Opening night is Friday, June 23rd and will include a reception with refreshments, best selection on limited-edition prints and original works of art, and door prizes.

Using donations of wall art, sculptures, and blown glass from the thrift shop and community at large, art enthusiasts can add to their collection. The professionally vetted art will be sold with 100% of the proceeds benefiting TRU Hospice.

A limited-edition print by popular culture icon and artist Peter Max will be one of the featured pieces in the sale. His bold colors, uplifting images and an uncommon artistic diversity have touched almost every phase of American culture and inspired many generations. Max’s signature style of cosmic characters meticulously painted against bold, vibrant colors was among the most influential graphic sources of the 1960s.

For more information on how to shop this sale for the newest addition to your collection, contact TRU Community Care’s Office of Philanthropic Services at 303.604.5358.

Volunteers at the TRU Hospice Thrift Shop work to identify items for eBay that attract a higher price than items in the shop. Dan Gleeson, former art teacher at Boulder High School observes, “We are amazed at the quality of the items donated to benefit the work of TRU Hospice. I’m so excited to pull together a collection for sale at Mary Williams Fine Arts—it will be a great opportunity for us.”

TRU Hospice Thrift Shop opened in 2005 to offer a depository for estate items to help families who have lost a loved one. When families feel burdened by possessions, it’s a gift to have TRU Hospice help find a new home for the furniture and household goods. Collectibles, books, furniture, art, and sporting goods, among other contributions, are accepted daily at the shop in east Boulder.

TRU Hospice Thrift Shop seeks volunteers for 4-hour shifts each week. More than 100 volunteers offer their services to the shop and find a great sense of community in the work. Carol Thompson, Volunteer Coordinator adds, “We are a warm, friendly place to give back to our community and have fun at the same time.” Call Carol at 303.605.5353 to learn more about volunteer opportunities.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers (VM) Cavalcade made an appearance at the annual Boulder Creek Festival over Memorial Day weekend.

Volunteer ministers offered their standard “nerve assists” to the crowd, an “action undertaken to help a person confront physical difficulties,” according to the book by L. Ron Hubbard, Assists for Illness and Injuries (one of the many VM booklets that outline solutions for everyday living.)

From handling aching feet and backs to helping people of other religions find workable ways to understand their sacred scriptures more effectively, festival goers learned that a Scientology Volunteer Minister truly has tools so that “Something Can Be Done About It,” the slogan of the VM corps.

A young civil engineer from India found many points in the VM handbooks that aligned with his religion.  Another young man said that he had “done a lot of personal growth and that is life was good, but he would like to be a bit better in social situations.”  The Volunteer Minister showed him how something called the “Tone Scale,” could help him understand where people were coming from and how to communicate with them more effectively.

Scientology Volunteer Ministers with their bright yellow shirts underneath tents of the same color have helped at major disaster areas around the world including 9-11, Hurricane Katrina, the Haiti earthquake and countless others. The idea behind the VM corps is to “bring conscience and kindness and love and freedom from travail by instilling into [society] trust, decency, honesty, and tolerance.”
