Immature Red-tailed Hawk electrocuted on a utility pole along Nelson Road near Hwy. 36. This happened on Thursday, 10/11/18, just after the snow and rain stopped. So sad! Perhaps its feathers were wet, or there was some exposed live wire. How often does this happen? I see hawks perched on utility poles all the time.
