Boulder Hiking Trail Pictures

I have documented 18 Boulder hiking trails on a website. The pictures are tied to Google Maps and provide a good idea of what each of the trails look like and scenes from the trails. There is also a slideshow mode so that you can get a visual idea of what going up and down each trail is like. The website is www.viewbouldertrails.com. The website uses Flash, so not every device is supported at this time.

31040775673?profile=originalFinding a reliable and reputable place to identify an cell phone number can be tricky. You may run into many sites claiming they are free reverse cell phone directory, but the truth is that may be a bit misleading. There is such a thing as a free cell phone reverse directory but the thing is, you only get to see the cell phone number owner's name and address after you complete some totally unrelated offers such as applying for free trials, requesting college information or filling out a loan application.

When you conduct a reverse phone lookup you will get free results that tell you if there is information on your subject. Because a phone search reveals private information, there are zero legitimate services that are legally able to provide this information to you without payment due to privacy laws. In looking at the best reverse cell phone lookup services, the reverse phone detective was a company that has been in business serving over 80% of the reverse phone number searching since 2008.

You might be asking yourself, what do these reverse phone lookup services actually do. Well, the information you receive greatly depends on the service you choose. There are services out there that advertise “Free” and then there are services that charge up to $30 for unlimited searches. Be prepared, when it says free, you will get what you pay for. If you were to use a search engine and entered the phone number, you would probably only receive the name and address, the same as if you used a “free” service.

As there is a lot of false information regarding reverse phone lookup directories one thing must be made clear - free phone reverse lookup directories can not trace cell phone numbers or provide you with services like background checks, criminal records search or SSN validation, to name just a few.

In the US, consumers could also choose between paid and free reverse phone trace services. If you want to get more accurate and updated information, you are advised to sign up with those paid services. Every search could cost about $.080 to $1.50 on the average. Free services may not be reliable as there is no guarantee that you would be able to obtain the information you need.

There are free online reverse phone search websites all over the internet but most of them cannot give you updated and correct details about a phone number in question. Plus free services directories do not include information for cell phone and unlisted numbers. Paying a one-time fee for unlimited searches and getting quick, correct and updated results is the best option.

When you need to use a reverse cell phone search it is important that you know how to properly locate and use a service provider. This article will give you a few tips to help you out.

It is a great thing to know that the search for information using cellular phone numbers is really possible, thanks to the technological advances! Aside from cellular phones, fax numbers and other unlisted phone numbers are also searchable in these sites. Finding the reverse phone lookup that can give you more is the first thing to do.

Studies have shown that anywhere from one-third to 40 percent of individuals treated for anorexia or bulimia will relapse. Eating Recovery Center, a national center for eating disorders recovery providing comprehensive treatment for anorexia and bulimia, aims to reduce this statistic. Recognizing that eating disorders are difficult to overcome alone, the treatment center has launched an alumni-focused program aimed at preventing relapse and fostering a supportive recovery environment for its patients.

“Patients leaving treatment consistently identify that the peer and treatment team support they had during their treatment program was a key element in their recovery process,” said Enola Gorham, MSW, LCSW, CEDS, clinical director of adult services at Eating Recovery Center. “Alumni programs provide the recovering eating disordered patient with an opportunity to reconnect with a recovery-focused community, benefit from the support of peers and refocus on the elements of recovery.”

The alumni program kicked off July 10 and 11 with a retreat attended by Eating Recovery Center alumni. The event, which focused on helping the former patients renew their individual commitments to anorexia or bulimia recovery, featured an interactive program led by Eating Recovery Center’s clinical leadership team. Therapeutic movement, art sessions and group activities offered opportunities for alumni to recharge their recovery and reconnect with fellow Eating Recovery Center peers and staff.

“When in treatment at Eating Recovery Center, all patients are introduced to the ‘it takes a village’ concept of recovery,” explained Gorham. “In this model, the person who is working to change behaviors needs honest feedback and support from people whom the patient knows have his or her best interest at heart. Upon leaving the treatment environment, patients can have a very hard time recreating a ‘village’ of support and care for themselves.”

In order to build a village of support, promote eating disorders recovery and reduce chances of relapse, Gorham recommends that recovering individuals follow these three tips:

  1. 1.     Build a strong support environment, which includes a knowledgeable treatment team.
  2. 2.     Prioritize recovery. Individuals leaving treatment are new to recovery and must put a lot of time, effort and energy into recovery. Gorham recommends that individuals in recovery simplify their lives as much as possible, and measure all commitments and activities against the standard of “will this help me keep my health and recovery?”
  3. 3.     Trust your treatment team and follow their advice.

Eating Recovery Center is planning additional tools and activities to help alumni maintain recovery mindsets. The Center is currently developing a website resource to offer continued support to alumni. Additional program elements under consideration include eating disorders support groups, social media, regional and local events and an alumni-focused e-newsletter.

31040774261?profile=originalEcotech Institute, the first and only college focused entirely on preparing America’s workforce for careers in renewable energy and sustainable design, today announced that it has installed an array of new laboratory equipment, further positioning the school as the premiere destination for renewable energy education.

Ecotech now has seven computer labs, nine clean energy labs and 11 lecture classrooms, including labs that focus on electricity, electronics, solar, wind and safety, as well as one outdoor solar residence lab. All labs offer progressive equipment to facilitate practical learning of basic and advanced electronics, the fundamentals and applications of wind and solar power generation and safety skills. Electricity, electronics, power, solar and hydraulics labs contain Lab-Volt® systems.

“We have invested heavily in the best equipment to ensure that our students learn on similar technology to what they will be using after graduation,” said Mike Seifert, president of Ecotech Institute. “We intentionally waited to buy and install this last round of equipment until our students were ready for that level of curriculum and we are pleased to announce that we’ve met that milestone.”

Some highlights of Ecotech’s labs include:

• Students studying wind technology are now taking courses in the wind safety lab, which includes a 25-foot climbing/safety training tower so students can use the actual harnesses that they would use to go up and down a real wind turbine. This helps simulate a significant element of a career as a wind or solar technician. The wind program lab equipment also includes a Lab-Volt® nacelle/pitch system, variable frequency drive and cranes and rigging trainers.

• Many classes are utilizing top-notch computer simulation software, in which students can engage in activities in multi-dimensional formats.

• A PLC (programmable logic controller) lab, which teaches students the most important fundamentals of manufacturing.

• Five brand new Lab-Volt® indoor/outdoor moveable solar / wind energy training systems.

• Other lab features include integrated circuit boards, a variety of motors, high voltage education and safety programs, programming software, controlling systems, hands-on wiring, electricity education through a variety of modalities, and much more.

Ecotech Institute’s new campus opened in January 2011 and was built with sustainability in mind. It boasts eight small wind turbines, a Vertical Axis wind turbine, 12 polycrystalline rooftop photovoltaic solar panels, two solar trees and much more. In the lobby, Ecotech boasts a cutting-edge dashboard that measures to-the-minute energy savings and aims to garner about 8-10 percent of its energy usage from on-site generation. Action Theater creator Ruth Zaporah to teach at Boulder International Fringe Festival

The Boulder International Fringe Festival is right around the corner, and along with hundreds of performances in theatre, music, dance, film, and poetry, the Fringe is bringing innovative arts education to the Front Range. Headlining this year’s workshop lineup is Ruth Zaporah, who is best known as the creator of Action Theater, an improvisational physical theater training and performance method.  She is also a performer, teacher, author, and Cultural Envoy for the U.S.State Department.

Zaporah’s workshop for the Boulder Fringe Festival, “A Splendid Moment,” teaches the fundamentals of Action Theater, which Zaporah describes as a “disciplined exploration of embodied exercises that lead to increased skills of strong, clear, spontaneous, and artful communication.”  Although Action Theater is often employed by professional theater artists, Zaporah emphasizes that the practice is equally valuable for anyone who wishes to experience greater self-awareness and sense of playfulness.

In addition to Zaporah’s workshop, this year’s Learning Fringe offers workshops in physical comedy, self-scripting, and music, including “Embodying Rhythm,” a body percussion workshop with Jim Santi Owen, the director of the San Francisco World Music Festival.  Local teachers are represented as well, including Boulder favorite square product theatre, with a workshop on crafting personal stories.  Several of the workshops are appropriate for teens and kids, including “Using All Our Voices”, a multi-generational workshop that invites kids and grandparents alike to come and play, offering improvisation and theatre games, movement and music.

While most workshops take place on Naropa University’s campus in downtown Boulder, the Learning Fringe also extends to the University of Colorado, in a collaboration with CU’s theatre and dance department.

According to Cynthia Ward, the Fringe Festival’s workshops coordinator, “the Fringe Festival is great, because it’s an opportunity to see a wide variety of theatre, music, and dance professionals from around the U.S. and the world, right here in Boulder.  But, the Learning Fringe is special because it’s a chance for folks who are usually in the audience to participate and be creative themselves.  We strive to create a line-up of workshops that are appropriate for all levels of experience, from the curious beginner to professional artists.”

All Fringe Workshops:

Aug 18-21 A Splendid Moment – Action Theater with Ruth Zaporah

Aug 20 Embodying Rhythm – Body Percussion with Jim Santi Owen

Aug 22 The Art of Clowning Around – Physical Comedy with Jenn Zuko Boughn

Aug 27 Using All Our Voices – Multi-generational Creativity with The Catamounts Performance Group

Aug 27 Your Own, Glorious Life – Personal storytelling with square product theatre

Registration and Information: For full descriptions of the workshops and other Festival events, visit www.boulderfringe.com, and to register for the workshops contact workshops@boulderfringe.com or call 303-803-5643.

Colorado’s own recycOil (http://www.recycoil.com) used cooking oil recycling service and Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park have teamed up once again to recycle Elitch’s used cooking oil for the 2011 summer season. After the oil has been used to make Fresh Cut Fries, Funnel Cakes, and other delicious goodies, recycOil collects and processes it at their feedstock plant in Berthoud, CO.

recycOil partners up with local Colorado restaurant and commercial food facilities focused on sustainability to recycle their used cooking oil which will then be converted into biodiesel energy and help keep Colorado green.

“We are proud to be fueling a low carbon future through our used cooking-oil recycling programs and sustainable biodiesel solutions,” said recycOil spokesperson Zane Kessler.  “It is truly an honor to participate in programs such as Elitch Gardens Outdoor Classroom Days educating the next generation on the importance of renewable fuels and environmental sustainability.”

During the recent Elitch Gardens Outdoor Classroom Days event on May 27, 2011, recycOil team members Adam Hall and Jason Barton visited the amusement park to talk with students about how Elitch converts its waste into renewable fuel. It’s tough to compete with roller coasters and waterslides, but luckily, Colorado kids are smart! Students from Denver Public and Jefferson County schools were excited to learn that well known places like Elitch Gardens, Invesco Field at Mile High, the Colorado Convention Center and the Denver Zoo are thinking about kids’ futures, and are helping to fuel a low carbon future with recycOil.

recycOil has been recycling used cooking oil in the Rocky Mountain region since 2005 – and has been supplying commercial biodiesel producers and other agricultural and industrial end-users with high quality feedstock for almost six years. Now, in partnership with best-in-class biodiesel producers and fuel distributors, recycOil is providing high-quality, cost- competitive biodiesel fuel to the Colorado market. This fuel is manufactured from used cooking oil and other recycled feedstocks under the strictest quality production protocols—achieving the highest environmental performance available in today’s commercial marketplace and delivering high-performance fuel at cost effective price points. All of this is done while also adhering 100% to applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations, including the federal Renewable Fuel Standard.

“The word is out. We’re providing some of the most cost-competitive and highest quality biodiesel in the West,” continued Zane Kessler.  “We work hard to create solutions that balance regional food production, agriculture and energy needs. All of this in a global, sustainable development framework.”

Hundreds of restaurants and commercial facilities throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region are working with recycOil to drive innovation in the Clean Technology industry – helping to strengthen our local economies while reducing our dependence on foreign oil, improving air quality and deploying commercially viable alternatives. This is how the recycOil network is helping fuel a low carbon future.

Now other sustainability leaders are getting on board too! On June 20th, the recycOil team, along with commercial biodiesel producer, Renewable Energy Group, and biofuels distributor, Gray Oil Inc., “put the fat” in New Belgium Brewery’s Tour de Fat 2011 tour kick-off by fuelling them up with biodiesel. Then on June 21st, the same partners fueled up Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown tour at Red Rocks amphitheatre, where recycOil has been recycling Front Range music fans’ fryer grease since 2008. Nelson continues to practice what he preaches about the clean, domestic, job creating advantages of biodiesel as he fuels his tour vehicles with the environmentally friendly fuel.  Stay tuned through the summer and into the fall to hear more about how recycOil is helping to close the loop with domestic energy resources!

"It is a terrific honor to fuel up Willie Nelson's tour as he is an artist that has fueled up country music fans across the USA," said Aaron W. Perry, CEO of recycOil. "His support of farmers and the biodiesel industry are testament to his commitment to rural communities and the production of sustainable, American-made biofuels."
