Integrated Asset Services®, LLC (IAS®) (www.iasreo.com), a leader in default management and residential collateral valuation, announced today the launch of Statebridge. The new company will provide custom, high-touch investor-focused servicing for the mortgage industry. Statebridge’s risk-based servicing will introduce a new adaptive approach designed to optimize investor success through tailored, high-touch servicing that maximizes return on performing and non-performing loans. This new approach to servicing was developed by the team that helped create the market for independent surveillance of mortgage securities. “Statebridge is defining a new category, “investor-focused servicing”, for the mortgage industry”, said Dave McCarthy, President and CEO of Integrated Asset Services. “In association with IAS’ valuation and REO capabilities, Statebridge will be the only servicing company to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for mortgage servicing that is intensely focused on the needs of investors that have grown out of this new mortgage environment.” Responding to changing industry expectations and demands, Statebridge was founded on the principle that a combination of technology, deep industry experience, custom borrower touch, and a contrarian view of servicing can make a significant difference in the performance of mortgage portfolios. Company executives created the firm’s servicing practices from the ground up, relying on years of experience in overseeing hundreds of servicers and roughly three trillion dollars worth of mortgages. “Statebridge is not a company that believes in doing things one way because that’s how they’ve always been done,” said Kevin Kanouff, President of Statebridge. “We work closely with our clients to create a servicing strategy unique to their investment philosophy for the greatest return. We treat borrowers with respect and our clients’ assets as if they were our own.” The company has been designed to provide custom special servicing of both distressed and non-distressed mortgages. In addition to unbiased service advice on existing mortgages, Statebridge experts are equipped to offer collateral analysis, fiduciary review, pool level analysis, and pricing advocacy for new investments in mortgages. With the Statebridge launch, the IAS suite of mortgage servicing products, which already includes REO management and disposition, collateral valuation, conditioned valuation, and mortgage due diligence, will effectively bridge the entire loan life cycle. “Our attitude is that there should always be a solution that is in the best interests of both the borrower and the investor,” said Kanouff. “We’re looking forward to our association with IAS and its “no excuses” philosophy to bring complete and exceptional solutions to the residential asset management industry.”

Integrated Asset Services(www.iasreo.com) today released its IAS360 House Price Index (HPI). Based upon the timeliest and most granular data available in the industry, the index for national house prices moved ahead another 1.2% in June. With June’s gains--the fourth consecutive positive month--the U.S. housing benchmark advanced 2.7% for full second quarter 2009, virtually offsetting the 2.6% decline across the first three months of the year. The IAS360 HPI is still down 16.7% from its high in June 2007. Like May, all four U.S. census regions reported positive numbers for the month and in like order. For June, the Northeast was up 1.9%, the Midwest 1.8%, the South 1.2%, and the West 0.4%. While values showed improvement in neighborhoods across the country, most upper end counties remained mired in a deep slump. In June, price declines continued to accelerate for Putnam County, NY, Morris County, NJ, and Howard County, MD. “I think that a lot of this valuation disparity reflects the immediate effects of Washington's housing-rescue plan,” said Dave McCarthy, President and CEO of Integrated Asset Services. “Everything so far has helped spur sales of lower-priced homes, which, at least in the short run, is producing winners and losers.” Among the nation’s 10 largest metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs) reported, only the Las Vegas housing market continued to slide with a drop of another 1.8% for the month. Boston and Chicago followed solid May numbers with increases of 2.9% and 1.3%, respectively, as did the big California MSAs, with Los Angeles gaining 2.2%, San Francisco up 1.7%, and San Diego 1.4%. “The improvement in the more traditional neighborhoods is encouraging, but it’s easy to think there may be trouble lurking further up the food chain,” said McCarthy. “If there is to be another decrease in home prices, my bet is it’s going to come from the top. One way or the other, the IAS360 will be the first to report it.” The IAS360 House Price Index is a comprehensive housing index tracking monthly change in the median sales price of detached single-family residences across the U.S. The index, based on all arms-length transactions, tracks data of 15,000 neighborhoods, that roll up to report on the changes in 360 counties, nine census divisions, four regions, and the nation overall. The IAS360 House Price Index is delivered on a monthly basis.

Asked if his New York Crime Family was dealing in narcotics, John Gotti replied: "No, who can compete with the government?"Here Read:+ DynCorp: Beyond the Rule of Law / Colombia Journal:--"Despite the fact that a company contracted by the U.S. government to carry out its program of fumigating and eradicating coca crops in Colombia has been caught smuggling heroin out of the country, no attempts have been made to bring it to justice.""These discoveries might only be the tip of the iceberg as DynCorp’s activities are conducted in absolute secrecy and appear to be beyond the jurisdiction of any governmental body. A high ranking police official in Colombia, who has known about DynCorp since their 1993 arrival in Colombia, told Semana magazine, 'no authority, whether the Civil Aviation Authority, police or army, is authorized to search DynCorp’s planes. Nobody knows what they carry on their return to the United States because they are untouchable.'”"According to the Guardian Weekly, the U.S. government’s contract with DynCorp is full of ambiguities, giving the company even more leeway to avoid oversight by both Colombian and U.S. authorities. This not only increases the opportunities for DynCorp employees to personally profit from drug-trafficking, but also enables the company to conduct counter-insurgency operations for the U.S. government that go far beyond their official role of assessing and implementing the fumigation of illicit crops."+ Breaking the Grip? Obstacles to Justice for Paramilitary Mafias in Colombia / Human Rights Watch:--"Eric Holder would have a troubling conflict of interest in carrying out this work in light of his current work as defense lawyer for Chiquita Brands ...""Chiquita has already admitted in a criminal case that it paid the AUC around $1.7 million in a 7-year period and that it further provided the AUC with a cache machine guns as well.""Indeed, Holder himself, using his influence as former deputy attorney general under the Clinton Administration, helped to negotiate Chiquita's sweetheart deal with the Justice Department in the criminal case against Chiquita."+ Banana Cream Pie / The Next Hurrah:--"I asked him about the drugs-for-weapons exchange and the Chiquita freighters.... 'Look, there were drugs, and there were times that they sent drugs for weapons. They sent the kilos of drugs, and from out there, those duros said we are going to send this many kilos of drugs and I need this many rifles,' Lorenzo said."+ Dirty Tricks, Inc.: The DynCorp-Government Connection Conspiracy Digest:--"Even more sinister is the fact that DynCorp manages email and information systems for many federal investigation agencies like FBI, DOJ and SEC. What does that mean? Whenever criminal behavior is detected, DynCorp controls the information, giving it defacto power to subvert the process of law and cover-up corporate-government criminal activities.""Dudley Mecum, DynCorp Director since 1988, who just happens to also be the managing director of ... There were "signs that some banks were rescued in that way."Now consider how, in USA v. Juan Vincent Castrillon (2nd Circuit Homepage / Decisions / Sotomayor Dissent), Judge Sonia Sotomayor stated:"I agree fully with the majority that there was ample evidence establishing the existence of a large-scale, international money laundering conspiracy. I disagree, however, with the majority's conclusion that there was sufficient evidence for a rational juror to conclude, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Huezo had the requisite knowledge and specific intent to launder the the proceeds of specified unlawful activity so as to support his conviction for money laundering or conspiracy."Yet the facts of the case are:Huezo drove a fellow conspirator and a suitcase containing $500,000 to a meeting with an undercover cop.On a latter occasion, surveillance disclosed that Huezo started his Jeep then left it running while positioning himself so he could see the both front of the house and the street, whereupon another conspirator emerged with a suitcase containing another $500,000 which he placed in the back of the Jeep for a second delivery.Huezo had $6,000 cash in his possession.+ National Drug Intelligence Center Puerto Rico/US Virgin Islands High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Drug Market Analysis 2009 (USDOJ):"The San Juan High Intensity Financial Crime Area (HIFCA) reports that the leaders of high-profile money laundering organizations based in Central American and South American countries maintain money laundering cells in Puerto Rico and the USVI. The cells launder the illicit proceeds generated by traffickers operating in the HIDTA region and, in doing so, use financial institutions, money remitters, shell corporations, bulk cash smuggling, and other methods, such as the Colombian Black Market Peso Exchange."+ FALN, Holder, and Obama: The Price Paid by One 'Ordinary American' / Human Events:New Year's Eve, 1982: NYPD's bomb squad rushed to headquarters at One Police Plaza--a Puerto Rican Independance Group (FALN) bombing had destroyed the entrance...A total of 4 FALN bombs exploded in a single hour that night--including at the Manhattan FBI office and a federal courthouse in Brooklyn...Though Puerto Rico voted to remain a part of the US, the FALN waged war on America with bombings, kidnappings, threats and intimidation. The most horriffic attack was the 1995 Fraunces Tavern bombing in Lower Manhattan--timed to go off during lunch hour..."After members of the FALN were arrested, they threatened Judge Thomas McMillen's life ... Carmine Valentine told the judge, "You are lucky that we cannot take you right now," ... Dylcia Pagan warned the courtroom: "All of you, I would advise you to watch your backs." And Ida Rodriguez told the judge, "You say we have no remorse. You're right. ... Your jails and your long sentences will not frighten us.""Eight of these FALN terrorists later would receive pardons from President Clinton ...""Holder played a central role in freeing these terrorists ... in this case he recommended that clemency be granted--despite vehement opposition from the FBI, the Bureau of Prisons, and his own Justice Department."+ Tony Rezko / Wikipedia:--"... the jury found Rezko guilty of six counts of wire fraud, six counts of mail fraud, two counts of corrupt solicitation, and two counts of money laundering ..."+ Grim proving ground for Obama's housing policy / Boston Globe:--Obama helped Rezko--his close friend and most important fund-raiser--get $87,000,000 to renovate 1,000 low-income Chicago apartments.

One month, 2,000 miles and countless friends later, Ryan Van Duzer is nearing Washington, D.C. on his two-wheeled, cross-country expedition. On June 20, Van Duzer departed from San Diego on a three-speed cruiser bike and is scheduled to arrive in the nation’s capital by August 10 for a celebration of his journey with the League of American Bicyclists and the National Geographic Society. While the trip is ending soon, you can still experience Duzer (a witty character with bikes on the brain), donate to Community Cycles (http://www.communitycycles.org/media/37-2009-media/185-duzer-across-america.html), and sign up for Team Wonderbike (http://www.teamwonderbike.com) before his trip ends. The cross-country trip appropriately concludes in Washington, D.C., where he will proudly share his message of bicycle advocacy. With some details still to be determined, Van Duzer will be the toast of a public event in National Geographic’s courtyard where he will meet with representatives from the League of American Bicyclists as well as Bicycle Friendly Business designees and members of the Congressional Bike Caucus. “The League of American Bicyclists is excited to welcome Ryan Van Duzer to D.C.,” said Andy Clarke, League of American Bicyclists President. “Duzer embodies the League’s philosophy that bicycling can be used for fun, fitness and transportation. We are eager to hear his stories of how America is truly becoming a bicycle-friendly nation one community at a time.” As he pedals across the nation, Van Duzer spreads the gospel of New Belgium Brewing’s Team Wonderbike and his life-long passion for biking. He continues to meet with advocacy groups, bike lovers, and city planners from America’s Bicycle Friendly Communities (http://www.bikeleague.org/programs/bicyclefriendlyamerica/communities/) as recognized by the League of American Bicyclists. “My trek so far has encouraged my belief that people everywhere love simple things – a home cooked meal, a trusty bike, a good beer,” said Van Duzer. “As I start heading toward our nation’s capital I am enthusiastic about how we as a country can benefit by more people embracing the two-wheeled lifestyle.” People across the country have been tuning in to Van Duzer’s personal story through his charismatic video diary, blogs, and Twitter and Facebook updates. Track his journey at http://www.newbelgium.com/duzer and come along when he gets to your area to share a meal, a beer or a bike ride. New Belgium Brewing, maker of Fat Tire Amber Ale, is sponsoring Van Duzer’s travels as part of its Team Wonderbike initiatives (http://www.newbelgium.com/team-wonderbike). Team Wonderbike was created by New Belgium to inspire and encourage folks to use their bike instead of their car as often as possible. Team Wonderbike membership is currently 18,000 strong, with more joining daily as Van Duzer’s trek gets people thinking, “If he can ride across the country, I can ride to work!” “With the help of the League of American Bicyclists, we are seeing the magic of a nationwide network of bicycle advocates pulling together,” said Bryan Simpson, New Belgium Spokesperson and Team Wonderbike Spokes Model. “We’ve seen people across the country join Ryan on rides or offer him a place to sleep. We’ve witnessed the bicycling community rally together for a cause. It’s nothing short of inspirational.” Visit http://www.newbelgium.com/duzer to look at the map and watch Duzer’s video blog.

Longmont Theatre Company’s Youth Theatre is proud to announce its first ever youth theatre production. For its first ever production the company will be putting on a production of ‘MacBeth Did It’ by John Patrick. How is this different from other youth theatre shows? Unlike the youth theatre summer workshops or 24 hour one act festivals, students had to audition and were not guranteed a part in the show. The cast and crew are also putting on the show on a volunteer basis. Just like a normal show at LTC.Gathering experience before tackling the "Big Time" in New York, director Larry Rencher (played by Matt Barham) has decided to undertake "Macbeth," drawing oh his faithful & generally hammy cadre of local theatre buffs. The role of Lady Macbeth is assigned to Dolly Dibble (played by Tori Young) whose husband owns the theatre with the other parts being parceled out with similar logic. As rehearsals begin, so do the hilarious complications & misunderstandings until, harried & out of patience, the director storms off in a huff-leaving maters in the hands of the meddlesome newcomer whose "suggestions" have been a thorn in his side. As they will, things then go from bad to worse, until the director is wooed into returning & despite the fact that Dolly's tipsy husband gets his head stuck in the witches' cauldron somehow everything gets pulled together in time for the fateful moment of opening night.Performances will be August 7-9, 2009. Tickets are $10, and are avaible on the web and at the door. “This is what happens when Shakespeare & Community Theatre.”

Local Restaurant Hosts Children’s Author to benefit area kids “It’s our way of giving back,” the manager of Capers Italian Bistro on Airport Road explains. The restaurant is hosting a book signing with award-winning author Gary Metivier this Saturday night from 5-7 pm. All of the proceeds from the book sales and a portion of the restaurant receipts that night will be given to Camp Wapiyapi (near Estes Park) for its cancer camp. “Every year I take my family on vacation to Estes Park,” the author explains. “We hike, fish and enjoy the outdoors. It’s an important part of the year for us as a family. I decided a couple of years ago—I wanted to help sick children be able to go to camp to have that kind of experience. There are great groups out there that are making sure they can do that for free.” Metivier, a television news anchor and writer, decided to write his first book “Willie’s Wagon” (Mom’s Choice Winner) as a fundraiser for a local cancer camp. The early reader chapter book quickly became a bestseller and local school children were clamoring for more. “I’ve been invited to more than a 100 schools in the past year. The students kept asking, ‘What’s next for Willie?’ so, I had to get to work on the second book.” Metivier released “A Hog Ate My Homework! A Willie’s Wagon Adventure” (Moonbeam Award Winner) last fall. It also became a bestseller. Combined the books and appearances have helped raise about $60,000 to support children’s charities. “Our goal is simple,” he explains. “We are trying to help inspire healthy children to read and to think of other people—and support sick children along the way.” You can meet Gary Metivier at Capers 600 S. Airport Road, Longmont this Saturday night from 5-7pm. There will be drawings for prizes every half hour. Find out more about his books and projects at www.willieswagon.com. Books are also available on amazon.
